Getting a chance to be part of something so beautiful is such a privilege and I consider myself so lucky to call it my job. All weddings are different, all love is unique and all couples are special in their own way, but there is one common thread that makes my job so continuously satisfying; the pure joy that true love brings.
Kirsten & Aubrey's wedding day was full of pure joy. These two got to start forever in paradise on Priest Lake at Hill's Resort. September 10th, 2016 was a sunny, wonderful day and it felt like mother nature was smiling right along with us. I don't think I can remember a moment that day when those two weren't smiling and laughing with each other and all their family and friends. I still laugh when I remember asking Aubrey and Kirsten to give me a more subtle facial expression during a pose and Aubrey apologized because she couldn't stop the huge grin on her face. That just about sums up genuine happiness to me! And that is what this day was all about. I adore being part of weddings like Kirsten & Aubrey's because it makes me remember the whole reason I love doing this in the first place, documenting happiness.

Priest Lake was looking gorgeous as always and personal touches added to the restaurant and lounge turned this lakeside resort into a perfect wedding venue.

The lakeside ceremony took place at 3pm that Saturday September 10th. With the beauty of the Pacific Northwest behind them and the love and support of family and friends in front of them, Kirsten & Aubrey said "I Do!" and promised each other the gift of forever.
A joyous ceremony led straight into a joyous celebration. A love filled receiving line let the newlyweds share a hug and moment with all their family and friends before getting the party started. The reception kicked off with some yard games, music and beer pong. Needless to say, the party had started!
We even managed to get a group shot of all the guests with the happy couple before the dance floor opened! No lack of smiles here.
Congrats again Aubrey & Kirsten, your joy and happiness was ever present on your wedding day and I know it will remain for all the years to come.
