Michelle & Eli | Spokane, Wa Wedding

If you know me and follow me on Instagram or Facebook you know I have a few favorite words to describe truly wonderful photo sessions and experiences. Dreamy & magical are at the top, because I fully believe that each moment holds an essence of something amazing. As a photographer, I get the chance to freeze these once in a lifetime moments and bottle up that magic to be cherished for years to come and I LOVE IT. When I photographed Michelle & Eli's engagement session last year at the Palouse Falls State Park, I said the word dreamy about 104885685 times because I felt it. I wasn't at a loss of words, I wasn't getting lazy with adjectives. I used the same word over and over because I truly felt it. I felt that we were capturing something so wonderful that it was out of a dream. Well, that dream continued into their wedding day on May 27th 2017 as they became Mr. & Mrs. Swedlow.

One of my favorite moments of the whole day was when Michelle mentioned wanting to replicate a "pinkie promise" photo she had seen. I said for us to make it authentic, they would each have to pinkie promise something to each other right then and there as the photo happened. These two made some very sweet, very funny promises that made me laugh and smile right alongside with them! I am now thinking this may just have to be a wedding portrait tradition.

On the rooftop of the Spokane Convention Center, an elegantly decorated ceremony location awaited the arrival of Michelle and Eli's family and friends. With a floating floral backdrop and traditional Jewish elements, they were ready to say "I do!"

The celebration continued at Barrister Winery where the night was filled with joy, laughter, love and so many smiles! The energy and happiness of of this couple filled the room. I even got to witness my first Jewish chair dance and let me tell you, it is just as fun as it looks!

Michelle & Eli, your love is nothing short of dreamy and I feel so grateful to have been a part of documenting your love story. Thank you for trusting Jennifer DeBarros Photography with your special day! Cheers!
