I think it's safe to say this year has thrown quite a few curveballs at engaged couples planning to get married in 2020. I've firsthand seen and felt the struggle of rules and restrictions changing weekly here in Washington state since May and it's been a heck of an emotional rollercoaster for couples and wedding vendors alike. Adapting can be HARD! You've dreamt of a certain type of celebration, you've spent countless hours planning your special day, you've spent your hard earned money putting all the details in place, to then have your vision change at the drop of a hat this year.... it's been a doozy! But while 2020 might be throwing some lemons when it comes to wedding planning, it's filled my heart to see my couples make some dang magical lemonade!
Shyla and Kyle's July elopement might have not been their initial plan for their wedding day, but when it was all over, they both said it was everything they had dreamed of. I think that's the beauty of life, we can lean in and accept the change we are faced with and come to find out it might have been what was meant to be all along. So scroll on through and take a peek at this romantic and adventurous Mount Rainier elopement and maybe you'll start dreaming of a whole new vision to honor your marriage and wedding day too :)

Couples, you might be feeling stuck and lost when it comes to wedding planning. SO much is still unknown with the future of events. But I am here to continually say from years of experience that your wedding day, whatever it might look like will NEVER be any less special when you put your marriage at the center of it. Love will never be cancelled!
