Lakeside Surprise Proposal

Surprise lakeside proposals don't get much more dreamier than this friends! I was SO honored to be part of this surreal evening as two dear friends experienced one of the best nights of their life. Chris had been scheming for weeks with amazing vendors as he put together the vision for their lakeside picnic proposal. I mean who doesn't want to pop some champagne lakeside at golden hour after saying "yes!" to forever with your favorite human? Way to go Chris! As I hid behind a shed the evening of the proposal, with the longest zoom lens on my camera to capture all the action, Chris led Elizabeth down to a beautifully decorated picnic at her family's lake cabin dock on Loon Lake. As the sun hit peek golden hour, he got down on one knee and asked to spend forever together. I KNOW, totally DREAMY! Of course the question was met with a big YES as the couple hugged and soaked in this moment. I definitely had to hold back happy tears as I documented all the magic. I'm a sucker for love! Finally made my way up to the elated couple for some more beautiful portraits as the sun lit up the lake. So enough talk, but you get the picture... it was a magical night and getting to capture these memories for my friends to treasure for years was such a gift! Cheers to forever!
